The ThaiG Hub Homestay is a private space for teachers, students, practitioners and visitors. As a guest you will receive special benefits also to our classes and treatments.
If you are joining us for a workshop or seminar, rest assure as there are plenty of nearby beautiful resorts and guest houses to choose from to suit your needs. Our hub is quietly tucked away off the main street, yet within walking distance to all the local amenities of the local village Klong Prao. Please enquire directly to see whether our homestay is available.

The ThaiG Hub Home Stay
We offer a private 48 sqm apartment situated on the ground floor of our training space. Our homestay is a complete living space ideal for 2-3 people, or those with a a small family. The bedroom has one large double size bed, a balcony area for relaxing, en suite bathroom and its own private entrance. The living space has a large sofa that can be used for sleeping, and offers ample space for lounging or for those who need to work during their stay. Your apartment will include its own kettle and fridge, and a separate private outdoor kitchen. There is a small river outside which you can also sit and relax next to during your stay.
Our home stay is a simple minimalistic living space. Ideal for those seeking a more local and low key setting. Our aim is to make our home yours during your stay. We will offer you all the basic necessities to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. (Daily cleaning is available upon request.)

If you are a guest teacher, practitioner or student with us, you are welcome to use our communal facilities to practice, work or relax at any time.
*During seminar/workshop periods our Home Stay will be allocated on a priority basis to teachers & students.
The rest of the time it is available to all regular guests. Please contact us directly to check availability :-)

1 bedroom, 1 living room 48 sqm apartment. Ideal for single, couples, small families and good friends. The living room includes a fold out sofa bed with ample space for lounging or working if needed. Includes private en suite bathroom and an outdoor basic kitchen. The bedroom is spacious with a small terrace to enjoy your morning coffee or breakfast surrounded by nature. Local Surroundings
Our hub is perfectly located within a 8 minute walk to the nearest beach Klong Prao (walk through blue lagoon), and surrounded by local shops, restaurants, resorts, and cafes. It is the ideal location for those who wish to experience a bit more of a local area, but still have all your comforts within walking distance. For those who prefer to cook during your stay, there are local markets and supermarkets within walking distance.
If you wish to head to the slightly busier/touristic areas, hop on a short scooter ride and explore the neighbouring areas such as Kai Bae (1.8 km or a 10 min ride) or White Sand beach (20-25min ride).

There are plenty of choices for accommodation in the area catering for all budgets. Below are a few recommendations in Klong Prao, that are easily accessible and within walking distance to us. We have not visited them all so please do your own research based on your own requirements. There are many more in the neighborhood not listed. We will update this list accordingly once we are settled. However if you have a scooter, able to arrange daily transport, or just enjoy exploring- it is also convenient to stay in nearby areas such as Kai Bae Beach, White Sand Beach, or Lonely Beach.
Located almost next door to The ThaiG Hub. Basic, simple, no frills, but this is still one of the most popular places in the area that is often booked out during high season. There is a nice garden to lunge in and each apartment has its own private terrace. Very friendly staff. Ideal for those who wish to be on our doorstep!

Literally next door to The ThaiG Hub. Very cute and quiet boutique style hotel right on our doorstep. Manager and staff are very friendly. Good rates but availability is very limited as often the rooms are booked out half a year in advance, but occasionally you may get lucky.

Owned by one of our favourite people on the island Pawina. Gorgeous rustic eco friendly place right next to the beach, and about 5 minutes walk to us. The place is right on the lagoon, with great views and a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Bungalows are basic but cozy and peaceful with their own individual deck. Ideal for those who wish to be right next to the beach and enjoy simple nature. They have a range of bungalows including AC, fans and basic ones in a range of prices. There is a small restaurant (lots of vegetarian options) and Pawina makes her own Kombucha as well as offering additional activities for the community (we run intro classes here also.) Very popular so book in advance!

Low key beach front bungalows 7 min walk to ours. (Next to blue lagoon) It is less then 20 metres to the beach and our go to location at the beach. Ideal for those who want to wake up right next to the sea, whilst still within walking distance to us! It is located at the closest point of entry to the beach from ours (Blue lagoon entrance.) You have to walk along a wooden bridge across a little river to get there which is very nice. We have not stayed there but have eaten there many times. Bungalows are very basic. Staff are very friendly and lots of pet dogs and cats on the premises to play with!

Nice low-med budget restaurant with outdoor pool, more upscale than Papaya Cottage and around 15 min walk to ours. We have stayed before a simple but nice and relaxed environment and good location.
"400 metres from Klong Prao Beach, offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. This 3-star hotel features free WiFi and a terrace. Property provides services including meeting and banquet facilities and evening entertainment. Located next door to The Gallery, it is on the main road corner before turning into our road. About 4 min walk to ours. Owners are nice, Has a pool, nice simple rooms and good value. Great location and they have several other locations in the Klong Prao area too.

"The Gallery offers an outdoor pool, a sun terrace and a restaurant. Cosy guest rooms are complete with a flat-screen TV, a safety deposit box and a refrigerator. All private bathrooms are fitted with a shower, a bathtub and free toiletries. Some rooms features a balcony and views as well. For added convenience, the The Gallery provides a 24-hour front desk, lifts and laundry service. It takes a 10 minute by car to reach Klong Plu Waterfall and 15 minutes to Bailan Bay. White Sand Beach is located 8.0 km from the accommodation."

"A 10-minute walk from Klong Prao Beach, Boonya Resort offers an outdoor pool, a tropical garden and free WiFi access. It is 2 km from Kai Bae Beach and 8.3 km from White Sand Beach. Appointed with a fan or air conditioning, the rooms provide cable TV and a private bathroom with a shower. There is also an electric kettle, a refrigerator and a safety deposit box. Guests can make various arrangements for excursions or activities."

One of the older high end resorts in the area, and conveniently located 5-8 mins walk from us. Lush surroundings.
"It offers massage rooms, a beachfront restaurant and 2 outdoor swimming pools. Free Wi-Fi. Rooms have Thai-style décor and wooden furniture. They overlook a tropical garden and include a private balcony, a satellite TV, a tea/coffee maker and a work desk. Thai, Italian and western cuisine can be enjoyed at the Sea Breeze Restaurant, which overlooks the ocean. Guests can also enjoy drinks next to the outdoor swimming pools, or relax at the spa pool. Herbal and Thai massages are offered at the Koh Chang’s spa."

Another popular high end resort in the area. Within 10mins or so walking distance to ours (a little further than Centara.)

Located next door to Dewa, a nice boutique option and walkable to us. We have only seen the place from outside but seems to have good reviews. Has a pool, nice rooms and direct beach front connected to ours. Similar price and standard to Dewa/Centara.

About a 12 minute walk from us. Ideal for those with kids or big adults! Includes outdoor pool and small water park to keep kids entertained. We have not personally visited but seems they have quite decent reviews. Good location in between Klong Prao and Kai Bae.

The place is beautiful, very secluded and tranquil setting. Some rooms have their own private pool, although there is not a direct beach front to relax on. Slightly higher end then Centara and Dewa. On a scooter technically you are very close by (5-8mins). However this place is tucked off the main road which involves a long windy road to get there which will take you around 20+ mins on foot (not nice in the heat). If you are walking this is not so convenient although they offer a shuttle bus to take you directly to the main road.

Owned by a lovely couple on the island, Thara Phlu offers well priced simple accommodation situated about 20 mins walk from Klong Plu waterfall. You will need a scooter to get around as the location is not on the main road. Around 5-8 min scooter ride to our location. There are 4 double bed bungalows and one house with 2 double beds and a kitchen. Ideal for a group of friends, students or families. Kai Bae Balcony Hills Bungalows
Ran by the same lovely people at Thara Phlu. Kai Bae Balcony Hills offers a more upscale and elegant accommodation ideal for couples in the next village. Kai Bae offers more shops and a lively atmosphere than Klong Prao. Ideal for those who would like to stay elsewhere but still close by. Each bungalow offers a holiday home with a sun terrace, garden, and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy sea views, air-conditioning, and private balconies. Located less than 1 km from Kai Bae Beach. Approximately 30+ mins walk from us or 7-10 mins on a scooter (recommended to get around easily). Only 3 bungalows available.
