Koh Chang Island
Known fondly as 'Elephant Island', Koh Chang is the third largest island in Thailand after Phuket and Koh Samui. Located on the East side, Koh Chang offers a more peaceful and laid back vibe compared to the popular southern islands. However don't be fooled by its laid back charms! There are plenty of activities available to keep you engaged and entertained during your stay.
If you are someone who prefers to avoid the crowds and the hustle and bustle, then Koh Chang is the place for you. The island offers the perfect balance of both local charm and modern facilities, with a large variety of accommodation options to suit different needs. There are plenty of delicious food choices and shopping areas, as well as a nice social scene for the more livelier!
As part of the Mu Ko Chang National Park, 80% of the island is considered a natural park, meaning you are always surrounded by an abundance of nature and wildlife. Indulge yourself and explore the stunning waterfalls, mountains, rainforests and many beautiful beaches it has to offer.
If you have the time then we recommend you also hop over to some of the neighboring islands for a visit. Koh Mak, Koh Wai and Koh Kood are all worth a visit and easily accessible by ferry.
For more details we highly recommend to check out the iamkohchang website.
